Simple Living | Creating Space for What Truly Matters
Updated 4.24.26
This space follows my journey into a slower, more intentional way of living — tending my home, my garden, my herbal practice, and the rhythms that keep me grounded. I share the small seasonal shifts, simple routines, and everyday moments that help me create space for what truly matters. My hope is that something here encourages you to slow down, notice your own rhythm, and live with a little more ease.
Living in Rhythm (New Blog Post): A reflection on how I’m shaping my days and weeks around nervous system regulation, seasonal energy, and gentle creative flow. This is the foundation of everything I’m building this year. Read the blog post.
Spring Garden + Herbal Practice: What I’m Growing, Harvesting, and Learning This Season-This spring has been a gentle return to the garden and my herbal practice. A few highlights from what’s growing and unfolding:
- Early sprouts are emerging — parsley and carrots have pushed through the soil with tiny green leaves, marking the start of this year’s growing season.
- My indoor herb kit is recovering after a short break while I was away; some herbs bounced back with water, others didn’t, but the process is part of the rhythm.
- Starter plants are coming soon — I’ll be adding strawberries and either potatoes or carrots as my first “test” fruits and veggies to nurture from starter plants this year.
- I invested in a vegetable & crop garden planner — a simple but powerful tool I’m using to track my herbs, vegetables, wild harvests, and herbal medicine practice. It’s helping me stay organized, record planting dates, and document what I’m learning as I grow.
- Wild herbal harvesting has begun — I’ve gathered dandelion flowers and purple dead nettle to dry for tea, learning how these gentle spring herbs support wellness.
- Herbal medicine practice is taking shape — I’m weaving what I’ve learned from my first herbal certificate into small, simple home remedies and seasonal teas.
- The garden is becoming part of my weekly rhythm — tending plants, harvesting wild herbs, and making tea blends has become a grounding part of my simple living practice this season.
